Fritz Hansen
The Danish furniture manufacturer Fritz Hansen traces its history back to a joinery workshop founded in 1872 and today sells a number of design classics by luminaries such as designer Arne Jacobsen. In addition, the Fritz Hansen portfolio also includes a number of contemporary designs, such as the Favn series by Jaime Hayon, and thus new products which complement the inventory of classics. Under the label Lightyears by Fritz Hansen, the company also supply contemporary and classic lamps, such as Christian Dell's Bauhaus lamps Kaiser Idell. The furniture and lamps by Fritz Hansen impress with Scandinavian simplicity and timelessness and are thus particularly suitable for contract use. The range of references is huge: Swan and Egg Chair, Series 7 & the likes can be found in hotels, restaurants, educational establishments, shops or cultural institutions all over the world. No wonder, since some of Fritz Hansen's showpiece objects go back to the interior concept of the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, for which Arne Jacobsen designed a large number of now classic furniture objects; while today, Fritz Hansen realises a multitude of holistic furnishing projects in which the furniture optimally complements the object. Fritz Hansen's furniture, which can also be customised on request, does the rest to ensure that projects with Fritz Hansen meet every style and every corporate identity.
