Anyone who has ever observed someone on all fours on the floor of a café or hotel reception and trying, in a strange twisted manner, to "unobtrusively" take a look under the chair may very well have met us. As an employee of a design shop, getting to the bottom of a furniture question is less an occupation as a profession: when we see something that appears to be a contemporary of an Eames design or a Bauhaus armchair, yet which we can't place, we can't help but follow our instincts and locate first manufacturer, then a designer, and if it is the authentic design piece it claims to be.
smow is all about design! It doesn't matter whether it's furnishing advice in the store or online shop, in marketing, logistics or IT, our job is always to realize spatial ideas - and that's not least of all a matter close to our hearts because it means we can look at beautiful things practically all day long are surrounded.

Our passion is in store consultations, It's why we have stores. Stores where we develop furnishing concepts for business and private spaces, we brainstorm, plan and find solutions for your design projects.

Logistics
Good service includes functioning, reliable logistics, be that shipping, assembly, goods receipt or storage. We are also experts in USM Haller assembly.

We love independence. Most of our software products are in-house developments: e-commerce shop, merchandise management and a web-based 3D configurator come from us and are being constantly further developed.

Personal contact with our customers is at the heart of smow. We provide personal advise on all furnishing issues and take care of order processing in German, English and French.

Where we work
From Hamburg to Munich to Switzerland — smow run the most beautiful shops, because the ever changing showroom displays are lovingly curated on site by the local team. Not centrally defined, smow HQ is in Leipzig – the logistics centre is in the east of Leipzig, and marketing is in the west of Leipzig.
