Jörg Gätjens (* 1965 in Duisburg/Germany), studied in Industrial design in Hannover. Following his graduation in 1997 Gätjens took-up a design management post with Nils Holger Moormann, before in 2002 he opened his own studio, "design development" in Cologne. Among his most important designs is Kleine Lehner for Moormann, for which he has picked up numerous awards including the 2004 Deutscher Design Club Award.
