Jens Kajus

The Danish product and graphic designer Jens Kajus graduated from the Danish Design School at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1996, and was co-founder and creative director of the design company e-Types and its later subsidiary Playtypes, and where he developed numerous award-winning visual identities, fonts and brand concepts over the course of 18 years. With his long-time friend and colleague, the designer and cabinet maker Claus Jakobsen, Jens Kajus designed most of the furniture for the office space of e-Types and in 2015 the two founded the furniture brand Million in Copenhagen, with the aim of developing and producing furniture in Denmark not only based on their own designs, but in collaboration with selected designers and architects, such as Terkel Skou Steffensen, with whom the table series Ease and the clothes rack Hug as well as the Million Today Chair were developed.
