Jonas Wagell
Swedish designer Jonas Wagell first made name for himself in 2007 with his 15 square meter prefab "Mini House", before in 2008 he founded the studio JWDA in Stockholm. In the same year Wallpaper Magazine described him as one of the "fifty world's hottest young artists". The versatile designer feels at home in a variety of fields, studying communication, graphics, architecture and furniture design in Stockholm and New York City, while his collaborations range from Europe to North America and China. Wagell creates lighting installations, furniture and accessories in industrial design. He works with clear and stringent forms, always connected with the special something - a playful detail or a refined colour. Together with the Danish manufacturer Audo Copenhagen, Jonas Wagell launched the JWDA Table Lamp in a new, larger version with a steel and brass base. Timeless elegance meets functional detail.
