The reception area - business card of the company
Whether law firm, gallery, medical practice or office floor: when planning the reception area one must always remember that the reception is the business card of each company, as well as a central part of the administration. The reception is where the first contact with clients, patients or customers arises: a reception area should therefore be attractively furnished and represent the identity of the company. In addition to the reception counter, the lobby or waiting area plays a central role depending on the size of the company. Atmosphere and customer loyalty are the most important keywords, but above all, each company has its own functional requirements. The successful planning of the reception area therefore always includes representative as well as logistical and practical aspects, such as a suitable colour concept or individual acoustic solutions, seating should be comfortable and reflect the company philosophy: while design furniture by Knoll International, such as the Barcelona Chair by Mies van der Rohe, embodies prestige and seriousness, seating in a start-up or a heavily frequented doctor's surgery may prefer objects such as the classic Series 7 chair from Fritz Hansen.
Reception desk solutions from USM Haller
Proven in terms of quality and functionality, the reception desks from USM Haller are in a class of their own. The modular furniture construction system, developed by Fritz Haller for USM in the early 1960s, can be individually configured thanks to its ingenious design principle and thus solutions for individual reception desks can be realised with the aid of the USM configurator. The minimalist USM design classics are known worldwide and are widely used in the project sector due to their high functionality: and while the USM Haller system is available in numerous RAL colours, the USM reception desk can be adapted to the respective colour concept of the company and thus fits perfectly into any corporate identity.
