Marc Newson

One of the most influential designers of his generation, Sydney-based designer Marc Newson has been a key player in the development of contemporary design: be it furniture, accessories, interior, watches, cases or jewellery, Newson effortlessly crosses product design genres, whereby a particular focus is on luxury consumer goods. In addition to a luggage collection for Louis Vuitton, Marc Newson designed a rifle for Beretta. More down to earth in contrast is his plastic rocking horse Rocky for the children's collection Magis Me Too from the Italian manufacturer Magis. Marc Newson's work has been honoured with numerous awards and exhibitions. He is currently working as a designer for clients all over the world as well as being a Creative Director at the Australian airline Qantas.
