Mads Sætter-Lassen represents a new generation of Danish designers at Norwegian manufacturer Northern. Mads studied design at the first the prestigious Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and subsequently in New York and today has his own design studio in Copenhagen. Familiar with different design areas, Mads Sætter-Lassen approach is also interdisciplinary: interior design elements meet hand-crafted approaches, material expertise and knowledge of ergonomics. When it comes to design, Mads Sætter-Lassen is committed to the Danish design tradition, to functionality and reduction, but also includes decorative elements, as long as they are functionally meaningful.
