Henry Pilcher

Henry Pilcher firmly established himself in contemporary design with his Block light for Röthlisberger. Since 2010 the young designer has been working from his own design studio in Sydney and has specialized in furniture, product and lighting design. He is concerned with exhibiting the inherent qualities in certain materials and for this purpose, he also uses design history as well as extensive experiments. Henry Pilcher has already been awarded various prizes for his work, work which also always creates a link between traditional craftsmanship and modern, industrial technology.
