Harry & Camila

Harry, born in the Netherlands in 1966, and Camila from Chile founded their joint studio Harry & Camila in 1998. The two designers met during their master's studies at the Domus Academy in Milan in 1994: Camila had previously studied Fashion Design at the Istituto Marangoni in Milan, Harry Product Design at the Design Academy in Eindhoven. Even after moving from Milan to Barcelona in 1998, Harry & Camila continued to work closely with Italian manufacturers such as Kristalia, FontanaArte, and Alessi. The furniture of the BCN product family for Kristalia exemplifies the futuristic style of Harry & Camila, who as designers experiment with new materials and processes and borrow their elegant form language from space and aircraft construction.
