Studio Besau-Marguerre
Studio Besau-Marguerre
Eva Marguerre, born in 1983, and Marcel Besau, born in 1980, studied product and communication design in Karlsruhe and Wuppertal and together formed Studio Besau-Marguerre in Hamburg in 2011. Their design studio covers diverse fields: interior design, visual communication, product design and editorial design. For many of their projects Studio Besau-Marguerre have been awarded numerous prizes, including the German Design Award Newcomer 2014. On the occasion of the Bauhaus anniversary the Studio Besau-Marguerre designed a jubilee edition of the S 533 F by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe for the German manufacturer Thonet. The Bauhaus classic shines in two new versions with finely tuned, contemporary, materials and colours.
