Studio WM

Behind Studio WM stand the two designers Wendy Legro and Maarten Collignon. After graduating from the Design Academy for Art, Architecture and Design Eindhoven, they started their collaboration in Rotterdam in 2010, focussing on furniture, interior and installation design. Clear structures characterise their style, often combined with a penchant for delicate colours and shapes. A love of detail is very important to Studio WM, as well as longevity and ingenious functionality. With their WM Lounge Chair, the duo combines light-weight wire design with powerful material for the Danish manufacturer Audo Copenhagen - a successful blend of elegant style with minimalist Scandinavian design. In addition to their design work, Wendy Legro and Maarten Collignon share their valuable knowledge of furniture and product design as lecturers in the "Furniture and Product Design" specialisation at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague.
