Stine Aas

In the few years since making her debut in the Scandinavian design scene, designer and graduate of the Bergen Academy of Art and Design, Stine Aas has designed numerous furniture and accessories that many consider trend-setting. For the manufacturer Northern, for example, she has created the wardrobe accessory Nest (2018) and the chair Oaki (2018). And two products that prove Stine Aas' skilful handling of colours and the Scandinavian tradition of woodworking, for which she has also been awarded numerous prizes. Stine Aas stayed true to Bergen and established her own design studio there. Her work has already been shown internationally at exhibitions in Stockholm, Helsinki, London, Milan, New York and Los Angeles.
