Patrick Jouin


Patrick Jouin (*1967 in Nantes/France) studied Industrial Design at the "Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Creation Industrielle" in Paris. In 1995 he teamed up with Philippe Starck's Studio in Paris before establishing his own Bureau "L'Agence Patrick Jouin" in 1998. Patrick Jouin has worked with companies diverse as Thomson, Renault and Kartell, for whom he designed the modular container cube Optic. Jouin was awarded the "Designer of the year" prize in 2003 for "Maison & Objet". He has additionally collaborated with 3-Michelin Star Chef Alain Ducasse, designing many of his restaurants such as the Alain Ducasse au Plaza Athénée, Be boulangerie-epicerie, in Paris, and Mix New York.
