Based in Stockholm, TAF Architects was founded in 2002 by the duo Mattias Ståhlbom and Gabriella Gustafson, with the aim of "making ordinary life less ordinary through subtle but effective changes in how products and architecture appear and function. A recurrent point of departure in our projects is that they can be made uncommon," states the design studio's philisophy. Amongst other projects the label designs for manufacturers such as Muuto or Skagerak and have exhibited in prestigious houses such as the MoMA in New York or the Swedish National Museum in Stockholm.
