Panthella Collection
The Panthella collection by Verner Panton includes all Panthella lights by the legendary Danish designer, whose works are primarily characterized by organic shapes and strong colours. Originally designed in 1971, it was Panton's goal to design a lamp in which not only the shade but also the base should serve as a reflector. He succeeded so well that over the years, more and more Panton luminaires joined the collection, for example the Panthella Mini in 2016. A little later, Louis Poulsen came up with a special homage to the designer: Verner Panton had always had a weakness for chrome, but such a lamp was not technically feasible during his lifetime. However, in 2018 the Danish design label launched the Panthella Mini Chrome in honour of Panton. In addition Louis Poulsen demonstrated an understanding of innovation with the Panthella Portable, a portable battery lamp that works entirely without cable, while, and timeously for for the 50th anniversary, the Panton lamp is also presented as the Panthella Midi in a new size. A perfect addition to the existing Panthella family.
