Peter Keler's Bauhaus-Cradle, produced today by Tecta, in both the classic and a slightly smaller version, was originally part of a geometric series of beds for men, women and toddlers. The man's bed had a right-angled headboard, the woman's semicircular headboard and footboard: for the cradle the two forms were combined and supplemented with a triangle. The Bauhaus-Cradle combines craftsmanship and artistic constructivism in a way that makes the cot a landmark Bauhaus classic.
