The lectern the kleine Lehner was designed by Jörg Gätjens for Nils Holger Moormann and has been part of the Bavarian furniture manufacturer's portfolio since 2003. The handy lectern can either be used lent against a wall or bookcase in the two-legged version or as a free standing three-legged version. The legs of the Moormann lectern are available either as untreated ash or oiled walnut and connect with the FU (birch plywood) table top at an angle that allows kleine Lehner the lean against a wall or shelving such that the legs are angled but the lectern plate is perfectly flat. This construction gives the lectern the kleine Lehner from Nils Holger Moormann a certain lightness, a certain restrained character which thus allows it to effortlessly fit into any library or lounge. Furthermore, this most practical piece of Moormann furniture can be easily stowed to save space when not needed. But then, when is an object such as the kleine Lehner not needed!
