Production

In the case of the Kristalia BCN stool the designers experimented with PBT, a synthetic material normally used in the electronics industry but which thanks to its resilience is ideal for the complicated shape of the seat shells. For the BCN bar stool wood this cool, industrial plastic is contrasted by a beech wood frame available either natural or painted in colour of the shell. As with the BCN bar stool the BCN bar stool wood is only available in the kitchen version with a seat height of 64 cm. And as with all Kristalia furniture the BCN bar stool wood is created in context of Kristalia's aim of provding durable high-quality furniture created without any consideration of fashion or trends.
