Anna-Maria Nilsson
A graduate of Lund University's School of Industrial Design, Anna-Maria Nilsson is today based in Lund in southern Sweden and as a young designer has achieved prominence through her nomination for numerous design awards including Pure Talents 2019 in context of IMM Cologne.
According to Anna-Maria Nilsson, her work is about developing simple, meaningful and timeless design, whereby an essential component is a sensitivity for the properties of the respective material. A good example of Anna-Maria Nilsson's approach is the magazine rack and storage unit Revue for Schönbuch, a structure crafted from powder-coated steel and in which Anna-Maria Nilsson has achieved a synthesis of fragile, elegant design, functionality and minimalism.
