Yes, castors are possible and can easily be ordered in the smow onlineshop. We recommend you to order 2 lockable and 6 non-locking casters for this particular unit.
What is the load bearing capacity of the USM Haller Lowboard L?
The load bearing capacity of a metal shelf is up to 50 kg.
Weights with a strong focal point, e.g. metal sculptures, can cause strong deflections. In suchcases, it is recommended for stability reasons to use an additional support profile which can be mounted under the shelf.
The USM Haller Lowboard L with Extension by Fritz Haller & Paul Schärer belongs to the extensive product range of the Swiss manufacturer USM Haller and is based on the same construction principle as all other USM furniture: metal tubes form the structure, metal panels serve as covers and chrome plated brass balls keep everything together. The USM Lowboard L is customizable and can be freely extended in all directions. Available in several different versions the lower compartments can, for example, be left open or fitted with drop-down doors or extension doors. In addition cable outlets can be added to the rear wall of the USM unit allowing its use as a multi media lowboard. All possible options and versions of the USM Haller Lowboard L can be individually configured in the smow USM Configurator.
