The Pin Coat Rods are a central component of the Pin Coat family designed by Oliver Bahr for Nils Holger Moormann. Available in untreated ash the Pin Coat Rods have notched ends into which, for example, coat hangers can be hung. The basis for the Moormann Pin Coat and Pin Coat Pin LED light rods is formed by a cast cement base into which the rods are inserted. The Pin Coat products embody the typical style of Moormann furniture: straightforward, clear, precise - reduced, intelligent design meets high-quality materials and gently influences its immediate vicinity in a non dominating manner. Based in Aschau in southern Bavaria Nils Holger Moormann founded his eponymous company in 1982 and although the company has its own creative department, cooperations with external designers form an important part of the company portfolio. Sustainability plays a very important role for the Bavarian furniture manufacturer, in addition to a focus on natural materials, some 90% of Moormann products are produced by suppliers located within a 30 km radius of Aschau.
