The Vitra Landi Chair is literally a timeless classic! Crafted from aluminium and presenting a reduced design, at its launch in 1938 the Landi was a genuine innovation. The Swiss artist and designer Hans Coray created a three-dimensionally shaped seat shell which thanks to its 91 holes is not only stable but formally light and easily accessible. Beyond the formal grace practical features such as the chair's stackability and weather resistance ensured the design very quickly became a much loved and popular product. Some 75 years later Vitra have re-launched this ground breaking chair.
