The sustainability of Moormann products largely results from the use of natural materials and their processing into durable, often modular, products which offer the user the chance to adapt and modify them as required. For transporting and distribution an emphasis is placed on achieving small packing sizes and only using recycled / recyclable packaging material. Production of Moormann furniture is completed by regional workshops within a 40 km radius of the company headquarters in Aschau im Chiemgau. |

Designed by Harry Thaler for Nils Holger Moormann Pressed Chair represents a fusion of minimalist design and modern production technology. Crafted from a single piece of aluminium the Moormann multi-purpose chair features a circumferential recess which lends the object its stability and also makes it suitable for indoor and outdoor use. A bold design object Pressed Chair unmistakably carries the signature of the Bavarian manufacturer Nils Holger Moormann, not least on account of its clarity and straightforwardness. Complementing matching seat cushions are available for the Moormann Pressed Chair. Based in the southern German town of Aschau Moormann was founded in 1982 and attaches great importance in the production of its furniture to the use of natural materials and cooperations with local suppliers and tradesmen.
