| Care | The wood is protected by a varnish and does not require any household products, especially for cleaning. Care with a damp sponge and a soft cloth is sufficient. The steel legs are designed for durability and do not require any special care. If necessary, they can be cleaned with a microfibre cloth and clean water. |
| Certificates & Sustainability | Sustainability is a core aspect of TIPTOE's design philosophy. In addition to the use of water-based paints, the materials used are also carefully selected and processed to create a long-lasting product with a minimised impact on the environment. The wood comes exclusively from PEFC-certified cultivation (certificate PEFC/07-31-60) in Europe and the fittings are made of steel. This means that the individual materials can be cleanly separated and recycled if necessary. Many of the materials used by TIPTOE are already recycled. Even the packaging material consists of at least 80% recycled paper. In addition, TIPTOE has been a certified B Corporation. This measures the company's positive impact in areas such as governance, employees, community, environment and the company's products. TIPTOE achieved a score of 90.6 points in 2024, which is not only well above the general median of 50.9 points, but also above the threshold of 80 points required for certification.
