The Contra floor lamp, designed by Jamie Wolfond for Muuto, captivates with the interplay of two contrasting materials – a raw, textured base made of cast aluminium and a soft, diffusing tube made of acrylic glass. The soft, diffused light creates a warm ambient glow, whilst the architectural, sculptural design acts as a striking focal point even when the light is switched off. Thanks to its compact footprint and atmospheric lighting effect, it is ideal for darker corners of a room, next to an armchair in a reading nook, or as an elegant accent light in modern living and public lounge areas.
