Designed by the Austrian design trio EOOS for Walter Knoll Oota, is a true gem among occasional tables. Atop the net-like mesh frame crafted from filigree steel struts sits a 10 mm thick tinted, round glass plate; a table top which due to its transparency allows an uninterrupted view of the base. The Oota side table is an optical highlight from every perspective; the exciting mix of materials gives the Walter Knoll table an exciting elegance with which it brings a certain je ne sais quoi to any space. Oota is available in 4 different sizes and can be used, for example, in the higher version as a side table or in the low version as a couch table. The company Walter Knoll can look back on a long company history. Wilhelm Knoll, the father of Walter, founded his "Ledergeschäft" in Stuttgart in 1865 and devoted himself to the production of seating. Walter Knoll founded his own company in 1925 and, with regard to the selection of materials, distanced himself from his father's and today, the company is one of the leading global manufacturers of high-quality designer furniture.
