The table Oki by the Austrian designer trio EOOS for the German furniture manufacturer Walter Knoll realises with its slim, straight shape and metallic colours the highest aesthetic standards. The filigree, edgy base in steel and the overlying thin aluminium table top are so narrow that when viewed from the side appear only as a fine line and only reveals its true character upon a change in the viewers perspective. Available in triangular and round versions, the Walter Knoll coffee tables can be arranged as a nest of 2 or 3 tables and thus allow for the creation of individual domestic scenographies. The manufacturer Walter Knoll can look back on a long company history: Wilhelm Knoll, father of Walter Knoll, founded his "leather business" in 1865 in Stuttgart and devoted himself to the production of seating furniture. In 1907 Walter and his brother took over together the paternal business before in 1925 establishing his own, eponymous, furniture production company. Since then Walter Knoll has steadily grown in terms of both size and reputation and today the company is one of the leading producers of high-quality designer furniture with a global presence and appeal.
