The engaging, iconic design of the Carronade High floor lamp from Le Klint arises from a wealth of geometric and organic shapes and a clever mix of materials. The ability to use the lampshade to determine the direction of the light also reveals the designer Markus Johansson's source of inspiration: 17th century ship's cannons. The designer masters the projection into a modern, Scandinavian lighting design with flying colours. With the introduction of the Carronade II Le Klint not only succeeds in reducing the price of the Carronade while maintaining the same quality, but also in creating a more modern and minimalist look.
