FAQ
What does the Alucompact used for the Sushi dining table look like?
The surface of the Alucompact table top shimmers slightly metallic. The table top is composed of layers of laminate and aluminium.
What quality control is the Sushi dining table subject to?
Each table which leaves the Kristalia plant is fully inspected before shipment. Then dismantled, checked again carefully, packaged and dispatched.
Are there any further variations of the Sushi dining table available?
Kristalia offer the thin table top in five materials: laminate Alucompact® (which on account of the internal aluminium layers is particularly resistant), laminate Pure-White (with plate and profiles all in white), Fenix-NTM® Black (with a particularly matt, fingerprint resistance pattern ,and silky soft surface) and Dekton by Cosentino (a mixture of building materials of the last generation, UV-resistant and particularly resistant to weathering and stains).
The structure and particularly strong legs are available in anodized aluminium or, in the monochrome version, with paint in colour of the table top.
The Design
The wafer-thin table top of the Kristalia Sushi table presents the characteristic delicate lightness that runs like a red thread through the entire design concept of the Sushi collection by Bartoli Design. The Italian trio Bartoli Design designed the Sushi dining table for Kristalia in 2002 together with the Sushi bench, Sushi snack , Sushi multi-purpose trolley and Sushi side table: a family of objects characterized by a strict formal reduction, the defines their beauty and innovation. The Sushi table top is composed of Alucompact, a multi-layered construction of laminate and aluminium, which creates a very high resistance and despite a thickness of just 10 mm absolute stability. In addition the Sushi table hides an extension mechanism. The final accent to the graceful aesthetics of the dining table Sushi are given by the metal legs; connected as they are at a 45-degree angle and without externally visible screws. A feature which underscores just how the Kristalia Sushi table connects technological progress with design poetry to create an object as aesthetic as it is functional.

In addition the high quality of the materials used in the production of all Kristalia products guarantees a long life cycle for all Kristalia furniture. In this sense Kristalia pay particular attention to the choice of material, and for all that the material selected enables the furniture to look new for as long as possible, the Sushi dining table, for example, employs an anti-scratch coating from the automotive industry. The production of Kristalia tables, seating and storage furniture is completely realised in Italy, and Kristalia demand from all suppliers the same high standards they practice themselves.

Established in 1994 the designer furniture manufacturer Kristalia continue the finest traditions of Italian furniture production. Producing high-quality and aesthetically sophisticated furniture that will appeal to a young, sophisticated buyers. Kristalia is always on the search for unconventional solutions,a search which then often appropriates techniques and materials from areas such as fashion, sports or the automotive industries. This philosophy can also be seen in Kristalia's Sushi dining table, which is equipped with sophisticated technology and is constructed from novel materials. Kristalia predominately works with young designers, including Neuland Industriedesign with their Elephant chair series or Harry & Camila with the BCN stools.
