The VL38 Table Lamp from Louis Poulsen was designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen and belongs to the VL lamp family. When originally released the Louis Poulsen lamp was ahead of its time, so much so that today it is hard to imagine that the small light originates from 1938! Designed for the Danish Broadcasting building in Copenhagen, the lamp never entered serial production. Until now. Louis Poulsen have revived the VL38 Table Lamp appear visually unchanged, however, provided with the latest lighting technology.
