The Demetra Tavolo LED lamp from Artemide recalls with its swivelling lamp head and directable arms strongly the Tolomeo family by Michele de Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina; however, was created some 20 years later by the Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa, a designer active in many areas, including industrial design and the development of electronic equipment and sporting goods. The Demetra Tavolo LED once again demonstrates Fukasawa's loving eye for detail, presenting as it does a flexible, sleek design, a built-in energy saving LED lamp and a characteristic foot that can be used on a table top, clamped or be fixed.
