The Utrecht armchair from Cassina reflects the vision of the Dutch De Stijl architect Gerrit T. Rietveld: in order to build a comfortable, high-quality armchair that is easy to produce the object is dismantled into its individual parts. The armrests, seat and backrest stand alone in the typical Rietveld geometry.

| Care | For regular cleaning of mixed fabrics (Look), Cassina recommends regularly dusting with a soft cloth. For stain removal it is recommended to remove the stains as soon as possible by dabbing them with a white cloth moistened with a little lukewarm water. The stains must be treated from the edge to the centre. If necessary, a suitable detergent can be used. The detergent must never be applied directly to the fabric. For regular cleaning of wool fabrics (Ortiga and Lincoln), Cassina recommends dusting with a soft brush. For more thorough cleaning dry cleaning by a specialist is recommended. The wool fibres lift slightly when the fabric becomes damp, this can make the affected area appear darker. For an even surface spray the entire fabric with a light mist of water and then leave to dry. Click for more information:  |
