A design classic with many names: produced by Ox Denmarq under the name Trifolium Chair, the work is also known as the Butterfly Chair, Hardoy Chair, Bat Chair or B.K.F. Chair. Designed in 1938 by Antonio Bonet, Juan Kurchan and Jorge Ferrari Hardoy, a trio whose initials be reflected in the name B.K.F. Chair, the design is without question one of the best known all lounge chairs designs. In the late 1940s Knoll acquired the rights, only produced the chair however until 1951. Ox Denmarq manufactures the Trifolium Chair by hand and in exclusive leather quality in Denmark.
