Toobe Table Lamp / Floor Lamp

Designed by Ferruccio Laviani for Kartell the light Toobe is available in two different sizes and, through its warm, soft lighting provides for a cosy atmosphere in any living room or bedroom. The smaller of the two Kartell lamps can be used as table lamp, while the larger version standing at a height of 170 cm is an interesting interpretation of the classic floor lamp: unlike the conventional representatives of this genre the Kartell Toobe floor lamp does not consist of a foot and a lampshade, but rather has the form of a tall, narrow tube and thus presents itself as modern and accessible. The mix of materials, colours and lighting creates an intimate, soft light suitable for any space. A specialist in the processing of high-quality plastic objects, the Italian furniture manufacturer Kartell has established a global reputation as leader in the field; a reputation underscored through the firms cooperations with Toobe designer Pietro Ferrucio Laviani. A designer who has realised numerous Kartell classics including the famous Take, Bourgie and FL/Y lamps.
