The Kartell pendant lamp Gè is one of many lamp designs the Italian designer Ferruccio Laviani has created for the Italian manufacturer Kartell. The Kartell Gè is a relatively conventionally shaped lampshade, but "shines" through the choice of material. Constructed from transparent or batch-dyed polycarbonate with a pleated surface Gè conjures subtle lighting effects in any room and with its light, modern style is suitable for any space. In the version with metallic colouring and reflective inner surface the Kartell Gè is transformed not only into a symbol of lighting exuberance but a shining commitment to an individual style. In keeping with the pleated lampshade optic the decorative ceiling rose of the Kartell Gè lamp is similarly styled, a decorative effect which refers formally to the Gè's sister lamp - the wall and pendant lamp È by Ferruccio Laviani.
