The Barcelona Lounger Relax from Knoll International is the counterpart to the classic Barcelona lounger by Bauhaus Director Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Lilly Reich, and is characterized by its extremely comfortable lying surface and in comparison the higher density of the foam. Rather Knoll's Bauhaus lounger, with its simple design and the interplay of tubular steel, high-quality leather and the typical buttons, represents a creation of classic modernism and, in the 1930s, became a Bauhaus classic that went down in design history.
