The Capitol Complex Chair by CRS Cassina is one of the most popular pieces of furniture in the Capitol Complex in the Indian city of Chandigarh, which was designed by architect Le Corbusier, amongst many others. Paying homage to Pierre Jeanneret, the Le Corbusier chair features an original solid wood construction with a Viennese cane seat and the typical inverted "V" of the frame.

Care | Wicker work: Natural materials need special attention. The cane should be regularly moistened on the rough underside/backside to maintain its elasticity - this is particularly important in dry or air-conditioned rooms. Long-term dryness makes the natural material brittle and prone to cracking. If threads come loose, they can be reattached with glue. Pointed heavy loads must be avoided at all costs. Frame: For daily care, a soft, damp cloth with clear water is recommended. Never treat with harsh cleaning agents or chemicals. |
