Design Story

The refined, foldable Gastone by Kartell was designed Antonio Citterio and Oliver Löw. The practical serving trolley inspires with its special aesthetics and is the perfect mobile partner for the home buffet or for aperitifs thanks to its wheels. The matte soft-touch surface of the plates made of fiberglass-reinforced nylon are additionally coated with a scratch-resistant paint to do justice to their function as a storage surface. The gathered or pulled apart construct is reminiscent of the industrial chic of scissor lamps, making the Gastone rolling cart a timeless, functional everyday helper and home accessory. Thanks to the foldable panels and accordion-like mechanism, the bar cart can be conveniently stored away. The Italian manufacturer Kartell is famous for the production of individual designer furniture, in which especially plastic is used as a material.
