Delivery Service

With our standard delivery service, orders to Switzerland, Germany and Austria are shipped free of charge. Full details of all our shipping options and charges, including shipping costs for other countries, can be found here.

* All orders to non-EU countries are sent exclusive of VAT. The delivery costs cover the transport and the charges for the import customs procedures. Additional customs charges and national VAT will be charged directly by the local tax authorities and need to be paid separately.   • Free to Switzerland, Germany and Austria
  • Deliveries are normally completed in 2 to 3 working days in Switzerland, 1 to 2 working days in Germany and Austria, in the rest of Europe ca. 2 to 5 working days. For Islands (Mallorca, Ibiza, Cyclades) please allow circa 1 week
  • With shipment tracking
  • Not at home at time of delivery? If possible, your delivery will be left with a neighbour, alternatively it will be available for pickup at your post office for 7 days after the attempted delivery.

Standard Freight Transport Delivery

  • Free to Switzerland, Germany and Austria
  • Deliveries are normally completed in 2 to 3 working days in Germany, 3 to 5 working days in Switzerland, rest of Europe ca. 3 to 6 working days, Islands (Mallorca, Ibiza, Cyclades) ca. 7 to 10 working days
  • Delivery is understood as being to the front of the building, i.e. good will not automatically be carried into the building. Transport into buildings (or to the point of use) as well as the disposal of the packaging and pallets are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Dispatch with shipment tracking
  • Delivery advice notification via e-mail, SMS or telephone
  • Delivery Monday to Friday, regular office hours (Saturday delivery available in some areas for a supplementary fee.)

Delivery Time

In-stock products are usually dispatched by 12 o’clock and delivered within Switzerland within 2 to 3 days, within Germany within 24 to 48 hours. When ordering in-stock USM furniture, dispatch usually takes place after one working day. Outside Germany, the final delivery time is about 3 to 5 working days. Please note that when paying in advance (bank transfer), the shipping occurs after receipt of payment.

Many of our products are in-stock in their standard versions and are shipped in 95 % of cases within 24 hours of order. The delivery time of products which we do not have in stock, depends on the respective manufacturers. As soon as the consignment arrives from the manufacturer, we work hard to forward it to you as quickly as possible. Exact information on current delivery and shipping times can be enquired from the smow customer service team.


Receipt of Delivery

Please check the goods immediately upon delivery by our logistics partner for externally visible damage and inform the courier. Should there be any visible damage please note this on the delivery note. Please note that with your signature you confirm the receipt of the goods in perfect condition. In case of a complaint, we ask you to contact our customer service as soon as possible by e-mail or telephone.
