A garden with furniture from the Skagen collection

Named after the city of Skagen on the northernmost tip of Denmark, the Skagen garden furniture collection from the Danish manufacturer Skagerak quickly evokes associations with the 19th century, a time when the most famous Danish artists and writers were active, and spread an atmosphere such as that found in the interiors of Vilhelm Hammershoi. The Skagen garden furniture is inspired by Skagen and its surroundings of that time. Robust and sober, yet stylish and elegant and extremely durable thanks to first-class workmanship. The Skagen bench and the Skagen armchair, both with the distinctive cross braces, can be inherited over generations, as well as the other furniture in the Skagen collection, and over time develop their own individual colour and patina due to the weather.
