Founded in Aalborg, Denmark, in 1976, the family run Skagerak furniture company stands for functional outdoor furniture in Scandinavian design. Inspired by the Nordic coastal climate, the Skagerak Design Team, together with renowned designers such as Mogens Holmriiss and Niels Hvass, develop contemporary wooden furniture for the terrace, garden or balcony. In addition to classic, more rustic garden furniture such as the Skagen collection, which radiates warmth and cosiness, the Skagerak range also includes more delicate designs such as the Mira Chair or the Flux Table, which are visually light and yet provide a cosy ambience in the outdoor area. In addition to garden tables and balcony chairs, the Danish manufacturer also offers barbecue accessories, fire bowls and parasols - thus nothing can stand in the way of the summer garden party or the cosy barbecue evening. In addition to their aesthetic charms, the Skagerak furniture also scores in terms of sustainability: The Danish furniture manufacturer uses exclusively ecologically grown wood species, including e.g. teak, oak and cedar wood, with the aim of developing particularly durable furniture that is so robust it can be passed on from generation to generation.
