Kressel + Schelle

Jonas Kressel, born in 1961, and Ivo Schelle, born in 1962, studied product design together in Kiel and founded the design studio Kressel + Schelle in their hometown Hamburg in 1992, and from where the two designers have been developing lighting and furniture for the kitchen and living area in cooperation with international furniture manufacturers, in addition to planning work and living spaces. The approach of Kressel + Schelle always focuses on details and functionality - they form the focus of the work and thus determine the design approach. Kressel + Schelle were awarded the German Design Award 2016 for their Stack shelving system, which, like the PS 04/05 Secretary, is manufactured by Müller Möbelfabrikation.
