Ferm Living is particularly known for the Plant Box collection versatile storage boxes that can be used as flower boxes or stylish organisation systems and are available in numerous Variants. Equally well-known is the elegant Herman series, above all the Herman chair, which was created in collaboration with Studio Herman. The Herman chair embodies Scandinavian purism par excellence and shows how clear and cosy modern design can be. The Ferm Living portfolio also includes numerous items of seating and upholstered furniture, lighting designs, as well as popular accessories and textiles that skilfully break up the purist style.

Whether in the Living room dining area, hallway, bathroom or children's room - Ferm Living designs rooms with loving details and a calm, natural design language. The Haze collection made of glass and metal brings structure and lightness to the bathroom, hallway or home office. For the kitchen and dining room, Ferm Living offers functional furniture with fine handcrafted accents, while outdoor collections such as the Desert seating furniture with Desert lounge chair and Desert sofa bring Scandinavian naturalness outdoors. History and values - From a little bird to a Danish label

The story of Ferm Living began in 2005 when Trine Andersen founded a graphic design agency in Aarhus. The impetus for the Ferm Living label itself came a year later when she was looking for a wallpaper for her new home and decided to design one herself - inspired by an incident that is now legendary: a clairvoyant saw a small bird sitting on a branch, unsure which way it should fly. This image became the logo - and a metaphor for Andersen's decision to realise her dream. Today, Ferm Living is based in Copenhagen and operates worldwide. Production takes place mainly in Europe, in collaboration with specialised craftsmen.

Sustainability and quality - durable, fair, tested

First-class materials and aesthetics - Ferm Living's sustainability principle is holistic

Ferm Living sees Sustainability as an attitude, not a trend. Longevity takes centre stage: high-quality materials and careful workmanship create products that will last for decades. This is the only way to conserve resources and avoid waste - a claim that the company backs up with a complaint rate of less than one percent. Around 20% of all Ferm Living products are already made from recycled or certified sustainable materials - including GOTS-certified cotton, PET yarn made from recycled plastic bottles, recycled aluminium, FSC wood and FSC wallpaper. Ferm Living also thinks sustainably when it comes to packaging: the packaging is mainly made from FSC-certified cardboard and paper as well as recyclable plastic bags. Only around 10% of the products are still protected with polystyrene - this proportion is to be further reduced. All products are tested by independent, accredited test centres such as the Danish Technological Institute and carry renowned environmental certificates:
