Ditlev Karsten

In 1985 Danish designer Ditlev Karsten established his own studio and from where he develops a wide range of furniture designs for a roster of international clients. Producing works characterised by high-quality, solid craftsmanship and based on very simple form languages Ditlev Karsten's approach to and understanding of furniture design is perhaps best summed up by his Sideboard S4 manufactured by the Danish furniture manufacturer Andersen, a work in which the connection to the quality and elegance of the traditional Danish design is very much in evidence.
