Architect and designer Marcel Breuer unquestionably shaped the style of tubular steel furniture like no other, and thereby defined one of the most important pillars of Bauhaus design. The chair models S 32 V and S 64 V represent a new edition of the classic cantilever chair through Thonet. In the Pure Materials edition the chairs impresses with reinforced wickerwork surrounded by natural, oiled wood, on which the patina of wear and tear cannot be avoided, thereby enabling the furniture to become a personal one-off over time.

Why "S 32 N/S 64 N Pure Materials"?
We leave traces on our favorite furniture that we use frequently. Behind Pure Materials is natural wood and a particularly gentle handling of materials. The wooden surfaces are only oiled, the structure remains clear. Over time, a natural patina forms through use, giving each piece of furniture a unique look and making it one of a kind.
What is the supporting material under the seat of a S 32/S 32 N Pure Materials?
For chairs which are exposed to particularly heavy use, a transparent plastic mesh can be fitted under the wickerwork.
