Lapalma

Lapalma was founded in 1978 by Marcato and Dario Romano near the Italian city of Padua. With a passion for design and quality, Lapalma develops simple designer furniture for offices, living spaces and gastronomic areas, in the production of which the responsible use of raw materials is always a focus. In the manufacture of its furniture, Lapalma relies on wood from controlled cultivation, high-quality leather and sturdy metal. Constant controls in the company's production facility and research into new materials guarantee the highest quality and durability. Aesthetically, the main focus is on the implementation of harmonious shapes and clear proportions, which can be seen, for example, in the well-known Lapalma bar stools. For its high quality standards and rational lines Lapalma furniture has received numerous awards such as the Japanese Good Design Award (2001) or the FX International Interior Design Award (2003).
