...For Budapest Design Week 2014 that of course meant a design exhibition and specifically "Entrance Hall" a showcase of works by contemporary Hungarian designers focussing on the one room of a house everyone uses but only the fewest of us give the attention it deserves... One of of the biggest problems with the contemporary "Entrance Hall" is of course that most of us don't have an Entrance Hall, we have, "The corridor behind the front door": a space that generally not only lacks space but also is required to utilise this failing space for numerous, unrelated, and invariable space requiring, functions...
