Norm Architects
The multidisciplinary design studio Norm Architects was founded by the architect Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen and the designer Kasper Rønn von Lotzbeck in 2008. Based in Copenhagen, the two founders have been joined by Linda Korndal and Katrine Goldstein and realise projects across the genres of architecture, photography, and design. In addition to distributing their own creations, Norm Architects have also collaborated with other well-known furniture manufacturers such as &Tradition, for whom they developed the Milk Table Lamp. For the Danish manufacturer Audo Copenhagen, the design office created a range of accessories for the home and contract sector, including the Towel Ladder and the Norm Floor Mirror. For Norm Architects the question of balance always plays an essential role, a product is perfect if one can neither add something nor take anything away: the Plinth side tables for Audo Copenhagen, for example, impress with their minimalism and their monumental appearance, and thereby their take on traditional Scandinavian design - simple aesthetics, natural materials, sustainable awareness - and extend it in a unique way.
